General Entry Information

The submission deadline for 2020 is over. We will inform you as soon as the submission for 2021 opens.

Our general entry requirements:

We’re looking forward to your short film of any genre:
Feature, documentary, animated or arthouse, children and teens, music videos and beyond.

Maximum runtime: 10 minutes.

We accept independent shorts by film professionals and upcoming filmmakers.

What’s more: We’re open to your entries from related artistic fields, such as installations and performances.

Requirements

  • Maximum runtime: 10 minutes
  • Completed entry form
  • English subtitles. (Films in English language are accepted without subtitles.)
  • Two film stills (jpeg)
  • A picture of the director (jpeg)

 

Rules and Terms

Our Rules and Guidelines for 2020 Submissions:

Your submission implies that you have the legal right to represent and submit the film for consideration, along with your acceptance of ISFF regulations.

 International films are required to have English subtitles 
 To submit a film or script, you must have created the project yourself, own the rights or have permission from the owner of the content to submit the film to ISFF.
 We do not send out physical tickets. The submitting filmmaker’s name will be on a list at our ticket desk. Any purchased tickets will be on this list as well. 

 ISFF reserves the right to refuse acceptance of submissions deemed by the festival to be inappropriate and violating the Rules and Terms.
