Oska Bright Film Festival Partner Screening

Learning disability film culture is rich with ideas, stories and imagination. But with less than 5% disabled people working in the UK film industry, getting the work made and seen is a challenge. Oska Bright Film Festival, the world’s leading platform for learning disability films and filmmakers, is dedicated to celebrating this vibrant art form and increasing representation.
The screening, curated by lead programmer Matthew Hellett, gives a flavour of the range of talent that Oska Bright hosts with drama, animation, artist and experimental shorts.

Take a deep dive into the different ways we, as learning disabled people, express ourselves and navigate the world. This screening is a celebration of what makes us unique and gives us an identity.

Content notes: contains strong language, sexual themes and mild violence.
